The Indian Navy has once again demonstrated its strength and speed in the sea. Indian warship INS Trikand foiled a major conspiracy of pirates in the Gulf of Aden. The pirates had targeted the cargo ship MV Golden Arsenal carrying essential goods for India. An Indian crew member was also present on the ship. Due to the prompt action of the Indian Navy and the promptness of MARCOS commandos, the ship and its crew were rescued safely.

According to sources, the pirates had targeted a merchant ship named MV Golden Arsenal. An Indian crew member was also present on this ship and it was carrying important goods for India. The ship's crew members showed prudence during the attack. He locked himself in the safe room of the ship and immediately sent a message to the Indian Navy for help through radio communication channel. Due to this, the pirates did not get a chance to completely capture the ship.

Pirates ran away as soon as they saw INS Trikand

As soon as the distress message was received, the Indian warship INS Trikand deployed nearby quickly proceeded towards the incident site. Fearing the presence and action of the Indian Navy, the pirates got scared and fled from the spot. After the escape of the pirates, Marine Commandos of the Indian Navy i.e. MARCOS reached the ship. They conducted a thorough search of the entire ship and ensured that there was no threat or pirates present on the ship. After this the ship was declared completely safe.

This operation once again proved that the Indian Navy is fully prepared to protect merchant ships and sea routes in the Indian Ocean and surrounding sea areas. This action of INS Trikand also showed India's growing maritime power and readiness in the region to the world.
