A big meeting of BJP was held on Thursday at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This meeting lasted for more than two and a half hours. Sources say that the names of Bharatiya Janata Party officials were discussed in this meeting. It is being said that after this, BJP President Nitin Naveen's team will also be announced soon. There was also a discussion regarding which leader should be given what responsibility in the organization.
Sources say that BJP General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh was also present in the marathon meeting held at Amit Shah's residence. However, no official information has been given regarding this meeting. However, many issues were discussed in the meeting, including the formation of a team of new national office bearers of BJP. Senior and young leaders are likely to get a place in the new team led by Nitin Naveen, who became the national president of BJP in January.
It is also being said that some leaders holding positions in the government can also be included in the organization. They can be entrusted with important responsibilities. Sources say that the names of the leaders to be included in the new central team of Bharatiya Janata Party will be announced soon.
Let us tell you that before the meeting held at Amit Shah's residence, a meeting was also held at the residence of Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, party president Nitin Naveen and JP Nadda along with other senior leaders participated in this high level meeting of BJP. This meeting took place at Rajnath's residence at a time when there is intense talk of reshuffle in the party leadership.
Apart from these meetings, on Wednesday, BJP Sikkim President DR Thapa met Amit Shah in Delhi. He talked about many issues including border security, disaster relief and industrial promotion. During this, Thapa had also raised the issues related to reservation of Limbu-Tamang assembly seat and development of Sikkim with the Home Minister. Thapa had met the Union Home Minister along with the party's state general secretary Arjun Rai.
