The final trio of fixtures in the World Cup Round of 32 are scheduled for tonight, beginning with the much-anticipated match between Australia and Egypt.
The victor from this encounter will secure a place in the Round of 16, where they will meet either Cape Verde or reigning champions Argentina, who are set to face each other later this evening.
Egypt enter the game as favourites to advance, though Australia’s performance against Turkey demonstrated their ability to pull off a surprise result in this competition.
The live broadcast for UK viewers will be on BBC One, with Match of the Day host Mark Chapman leading the coverage.
Chapman will be joined in the BBC’s Salford studio by three members of the punditry team, along with former referee’s assistant Darren Cann.
The experienced ex-linesman has been contributing expert analysis on contentious refereeing calls and incidents throughout the tournament.
He will once again be available this evening to offer his insights should any major decisions arise during the match.
Cann will be accompanied by three former footballers in the studio, including former Spain and Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta.
Azpilicueta will deliver pre-match commentary as well as half-time and post-match analysis, alongside two additional pundits.
Joining him will be former Wales and Swansea City defender Ashley Williams and ex-Celtic and Scotland captain Scott Brown.
Meanwhile, live commentary from inside the Dallas Stadium in Texas will be provided by Robyn Cowen.
She will be joined in the commentary box by a co-commentator, whose identity the BBC has yet to confirm.
Also present at the stadium will be Eilidh Barbour, delivering radio commentary along with Chris Sutton.
