RRB Group D 2025 Exam Date: The Railway Recruitment Board has announced the date for the written examination for Level-1 (Group D) recruitment, notified under Advertisement No. CEN 09/2025. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for recruitment to various Level 1 (7th CPC Pay Matrix) posts will be held from August 3, 2026, to August 21, 2026.

When will the exam city, date, and e-call letter be released?
The RRB has also clarified the position regarding exam admit cards and exam city details:

Exam City and Travel Pass: The link to view the exam date and city, as well as the link to download the travel authority (free pass) for SC/ST candidates, will go live on all official RRB websites approximately 10 days before the exam begins.

Admit Card Download: Candidates will be able to download their e-call letters 4 days before the actual date of the exam; details regarding this will be provided via the exam city intimation link.

Aadhaar-linked biometric verification is mandatory.
Strict instructions regarding security and transparency have been issued in points 4 and 5 of the notice:

Biometrics at Exam Center: Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be conducted for all candidates before they enter the exam hall. For this, it is mandatory for candidates to carry their original Aadhaar card or a printout of their e-verified Aadhaar.

Keep Aadhaar Unlocked: Candidates who verified their Aadhaar at the time of application are advised to ensure—before arriving at the exam center—that their Aadhaar status is 'unlocked' in the UIDAI system to avoid any inconvenience during verification.

Beware of touts and fraudulent claims.
The Railway Recruitment Board has cautioned candidates to beware of touts or fraudsters who make false promises of securing jobs through illegal means. The RRB has clarified that the selection process for the railways is conducted entirely through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and strictly based on the candidates' merit.

For the latest and official updates, candidates should rely solely on the official RRB websites and avoid being misled by any unauthorized sources.
