The wedding took place on 25th June
The young man's father, who reached the women's police station, told that the girl, resident of a village in Meerut, was married to his son with full rituals on June 25, 2026. After the marriage, when the groom reached the room on the wedding night, the newlywed bride flatly refused to come near him. The bride said bluntly – Don't even touch me. I am someone else's trust and only my lover has rights over me.
talk on the phone in front of family
The bride did not stop here, she directly threatened the groom that if he tried to touch her, she would get him killed. After this, she started talking to her lover continuously on the phone in front of the entire family.
When the family members shrugged it off, the husband took a big step.
The husband got horrified after seeing this dreadful threat received on the wedding night and the attitude of the bride. The groom immediately informed the entire incident to the bride's parents over phone. But the girl's family did not show any seriousness and casually said, "Leave our daughter back here." The young man's family refused to send the girl alone like this. Finally, just three days after the marriage, on June 28, the husband showed a big heart. He called his wife's lover to Hapur and handed over the bride to her lover with full respect.
The victim's family reached the police station for future security.
After sending the girl with her lover, the young man and his family became alert to avoid legal hassles and any untoward incident in future. On Friday, the young man and his father reached the women's police station of Hapur. He submitted a written complaint letter to the police and told the entire incident truthfully. The victim appealed to the police that since the girl had gone with her boyfriend of her own free will, it should be ensured that no untoward incident or false legal case happens to her or her family in future.
What does the police officer say?
Giving information on this unique case, Mahila police station in-charge Aruna Rai said, "The girl was in love with another young man, but her family members got her married in Hapur against her wishes.
