Rajinikanth Thalaivar 173 has been named 'Dharman', which was earlier going to be directed by someone else. But then many changes were made regarding this project and finally Ashwath Marimuthu was chosen as its director. In a recent interview, Ashwath Marimuthu said that whenever he thinks about this project, he gets nervous. Director Ashwath Marimuthu admitted that working with a veteran star like Rajinikanth is as exciting as it is nerve-wracking for him.

Ashwath Marimuthu, director of 'Dharman' said, "'Dharman' is the biggest responsibility for me till date. Whenever I think about it, I get nervous. So I told Rajini sir that I am just enjoying the work without thinking too much. Working with him is very comfortable. 'Dharman' will be a great film. Both Rajini sir's swag and my style will be seen in it."

When will Dharman be released?

Talking about Dharman, Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of a dreaded doctor in this upcoming film. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is producing this film. Ashwath Marimuthu, famous for films like 'Dragon' and 'Oh My Kadavule', is its director. While Anirudh Ravichander is composing its music. Artists like Simran, Yogi Babu and Rashi Khanna will also be seen in this film. 'Dharman' shooting is going on in Chennai and it will be released on the big screen in 2027.
