These include 4067 secondary teachers and 950 primary teachers. All these candidates were selected through Teacher Selection Examination-2024. After these orders issued by the department on July 3 and 4, the long wait of almost two years for the selected teachers has ended.
Newly appointed teachers will start serving in government schools from this academic session. Let us tell you that all these candidates were selected through the teacher selection examination, but even after the results came, the appointment process remained pending for a long time. Candidates had protested several times at various forums including the capital Bhopal regarding the delay in the process. After this, the School Education Department started the process of registering school options (choice filling) in the month of June, the last date of which was fixed as 21st June. After choice filling and resolution of all pending technical discrepancies at the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) level, the final merit and joining letters along with allotted schools have now been uploaded on the portal.
