In the early hours of Sunday, around 2:00 AM, a significant fire broke out at a factory located in the Chandan Hola area of Delhi, near Punjab National Bank. Fire department official Manish Sherawat reported that they received notification of the incident around 2:30 AM. The blaze was so intense that it quickly engulfed the entire factory.
According to fire brigade officials, the fire spread across an extensive area of approximately 5,000 square yards, exhibiting high intensity. A total of 30 fire engines were dispatched to the scene in a staggered manner. The fire was classified as medium severity. After considerable effort from the firefighters, the blaze was brought under control in about eight hours.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported from this major incident. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. Officials have stated that a thorough investigation will be conducted to determine the underlying reasons for the outbreak.
