The summer transfer window is heating up as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool push ahead with ambitious plans to strengthen their squads. Arsenal are reportedly preparing blockbuster moves worth over £100 million to sign both Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola, following an agreement to sell Leandro Trossard to Besiktas. The North London club are also believed to be monitoring Alex Scott and Kenan Yildiz but have withdrawn their interest in Jeremy Monga, who is now set to join Manchester City.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have set their sights on Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni as part of their midfield revamp. The Red Devils may also pursue alternatives including Alex Scott, Felix Nmecha, Ayyoub Bouaddi, or Sander Berge, while continuing discussions with West Ham United regarding Crysencio Summerville. Chelsea are preparing a fresh offer for Pep Chavarria and have also been linked with Tchouameni after ending their pursuit of Granit Xhaka. Tyrique George is on the verge of sealing a permanent switch to Everton, with Trevoh Chalobah also expected to leave Stamford Bridge soon.

Tottenham Hotspur could potentially outmanoeuvre Arsenal to sign Eli Junior Kroupi, while also targeting Raoul Bellanova. Sandro Tonali’s move to North London is nearing completion, and Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a move for Spanish playmaker Sergio Arribas. Stay tuned for all the live updates, rumours, and transfer gossip below.

Jurgen Klopp appears ready to return to management. The Liverpool icon has been in advanced discussions with the German Football Association (DFB) to take charge of the national team following Julian Nagelsmann’s resignation after Germany’s shocking World Cup last-32 penalty shootout defeat to Paraguay earlier this week.

According to Fabrizio Romano, although some contract details and his exit from his current role as Red Bull’s head of global football are still being finalised, Klopp has accepted the DFB’s offer. Romano also notes that former Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner was considered to replace Klopp at Red Bull, but the Austrian tactician has instead agreed to take over at Nottingham Forest following Vitor Pereira’s departure.

Manchester United’s pursuit of Aurelien Tchouameni continues as they look to bolster their midfield options. The club have already finalised the £35 million signing of Ederson from Serie A side Atalanta after parting ways with Casemiro at the end of last season. Despite Manuel Ugarte’s serious injury, United’s transfer activity remains unaffected, with Sky Sports reporting that their shortlist is headlined by Tchouameni and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, alongside Felix Nmecha, Ayyoub Bouaddi, and Sander Berge.

Arsenal supporters may be disappointed to see Leandro Trossard depart, but the club’s attacking reinforcements could offer plenty to look forward to. The Gunners are being linked with several high-profile forwards to sharpen an attack that struggled in moments last season, despite their Premier League title win and run to the Champions League final. Reports from HandofArsenal suggest that Arsenal are working on major deals to bring in both Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola this summer. Although formal talks between clubs have not yet begun, both World Cup players are believed to be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Reports indicate that Arsenal have reached an agreement to sell Leandro Trossard to Turkish giants Besiktas. The Belgian winger, currently on international duty at the World Cup, has been a pivotal player under Mikel Arteta since joining from Brighton in a £27 million move in January 2023, contributing several crucial goals. The Athletic reports that Arsenal have accepted an offer worth £17.1 million from Besiktas as they aim to revamp their forward line ahead of next season’s Premier League title defence.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have finalised a deal to sell academy product Tyrique George to Everton for a fee that could rise to £24 million. The young forward impressed Toffees boss David Moyes during his loan spell last season. Standard Sport understands that Everton were keen to make the move permanent from the start of the summer and have now agreed to pay £18 million plus up to £6 million in add-ons. Chelsea have also inserted a 15 per cent sell-on clause into the agreement.

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is another Brazilian player expected to switch clubs after the World Cup. Spanish outlet AS claims that Arsenal are making a strong push to sign him, while Newcastle have lined up Danilo Santos as a potential replacement should Guimaraes leave St James’ Park.
