Chelsea have ensured the long-term future of one of England’s most promising football talents, as Aggie Beever-Jones has signed a new contract at Stamford Bridge. The homegrown forward, who has risen impressively through the club’s ranks, has pledged her commitment to the Blues until 2030.
Commitment to her boyhood club
The 22-year-old forward has become an essential part of Chelsea’s setup, and this new six-year agreement highlights her importance as a key figure for the club’s future. Having joined Chelsea at the age of nine, Beever-Jones has achieved what countless academy players dream of—progressing from a young hopeful to a dependable first-team international.
Speaking after extending her contract, Beever-Jones said: “It feels amazing. Chelsea has been my team since I was a little girl, and that means everything to me and my family. Today is a very proud moment, and I’m thrilled to continue my journey here and make even more memories in blue.”
The forward has already made 97 appearances and scored 32 goals, establishing herself at the highest level of the Women’s Super League.
Making her mark on the international stage
Her performances at club level have caught the attention of England head coach Sarina Wiegman. Beever-Jones has swiftly become a regular in the Lionesses setup, announcing herself in style with a 30-minute hat-trick against Portugal at Wembley Stadium.
Her international reputation grew further during the 2025 Women’s European Championship, where she scored against Wales on the way to helping England lift the trophy.
Reflecting on her progress, Beever-Jones expressed gratitude to former manager Emma Hayes for her early support. “I kept working hard and pushing forward until the opportunity came. I’ve always said how thankful I am to Emma [Hayes] for giving me that initial platform to grow,” she said.
Proven success at home
Beever-Jones played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s domestic Treble-winning 2024-25 season and already boasts an impressive trophy collection. She has twice won the Women’s Super League and celebrated two triumphs each in the Women’s FA Cup and Women’s League Cup.
Her knack for delivering on big occasions was evident when she scored in the 2-0 win over Manchester United in the March League Cup final.
In the previous season, she continued to demonstrate her sharpness in front of goal, contributing six goals and two assists. Her technical excellence was on full display with a stunning free-kick against West Ham United, which was awarded Chelsea’s Goal of the Month for September.
Determined to achieve European glory
Despite her long list of accolades, the striker remains motivated for further success. Her biggest ambition is to win the one trophy that has so far eluded Chelsea—the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Now secured with a long-term contract, Beever-Jones is focused on cementing her place in the starting lineup and leading the team in the years ahead.
Speaking about her ambitions, she said: “Everyone knows I’m Chelsea through and through. I’d love nothing more than to win the Champions League with Chelsea. That’s a goal we all share. I’ve always said it, and I’ll keep saying it in every interview: I just want to enjoy playing football. And I believe that happiness is here at Chelsea.”
