1.Start the day with lukewarm water
Make a habit of drinking a glass of lukewarm water as soon as you wake up in the morning. According to Ayurveda, it is considered helpful in removing toxins (ama) from the body, activating the digestive system and preparing the body for the day. A little lemon or turmeric can also be added to it for taste. During monsoon, it is better to avoid consuming cold beverages in the morning.
2. Make tongue cleaning a part of your morning routine.
Use a copper or stainless steel tongue scraper to remove the coating that has accumulated on your tongue overnight. In Ayurveda it is considered an important part of daily routine. This can help maintain oral hygiene, reduce bad breath and improve your ability to taste.
3. Drink warm herbal drinks

Consuming hot herbal drink made of basil, ginger and black pepper is considered beneficial during the monsoon season. These herbs have been used in Ayurveda for a long time. It can help in warming the body and making you feel better during the change of weather.
4. Do oil pulling
Swish sesame or coconut oil in the mouth for 5 to 10 minutes before brushing. In Ayurveda it is called oil pulling. This traditional procedure is followed to maintain oral hygiene and care for the gums. After this, pour out the oil and brush normally.
5. Have a hot and fresh breakfast

Include fresh and hot food like porridge, poha or upma in your morning breakfast. According to Ayurveda, light, hot and easily digestible food is considered more suitable for the body in monsoon. Besides, it is also advised to avoid sleeping for too long during the day in this season, so that the balance of digestion and body is maintained.
