FIFA Names QF Officials

FIFA has announced the officiating teams for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 quarterfinal matches between France and Morocco, and Spain and Belgium.

The quarterfinal between France and Morocco will be overseen by Facundo Tello of Argentina. He will be assisted by fellow Argentinians Juan Pablo Belatti and Gabriel Chade, while Darío Herrera has been appointed as the fourth official. Cristian Navarro will serve as the reserve assistant referee. The match will take place at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The second quarterfinal, featuring Spain and Belgium, will be refereed by Michael Oliver of England. His assistant referees will be Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring, also from England. Ramon Abatti of Brazil has been named fourth official, with Rafael da Silva Alves serving as the reserve assistant referee. This match will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

France and Morocco are scheduled to meet on Thursday, July 9, with kickoff set for 4:00 p.m. EDT. Spain and Belgium will face off on Friday, July 10, with the match beginning at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
