A big step has been taken towards promoting investment and industries in Chhattisgarh. In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the draft of Chhattisgarh Ease of Doing Business (Regulation-Freedom and Facilitation) Bill 2026 was approved. The objective of this bill is to make the processes for setting up business and industry more simple, transparent, digital and time-bound.

The Cabinet has approved the draft of the Ease of Doing Business Bill. This will provide employment to the youth in the state and there will be rapid development in the state.
With the implementation of the new law, investors will get relief from unnecessary delays and complications in government processes. Important provisions like deemed permission, self-certification, third-party verification, risk-based inspection and elimination of dual licensing obligations have been included in the bill.
The government believes that these reforms will make the business environment more favorable for investors, give impetus to industrial development and create new employment opportunities on a large scale in the state.
