According to scholars, this time there is a coincidence of solar eclipse on the new moon day of Saavan month. It is called Hariyali Amavasya. This time this date is on 12th August, Wednesday i.e. solar eclipse will occur on this day. Hareli, Deep Puja and JD festivals will be celebrated on this day in different parts of the country. The solar eclipse occurring on August 12 will not be visible anywhere in India. Therefore there will be no recognition of it here. Its sutak will be valid only in the countries where this solar eclipse will be visible. This will be a total solar eclipse. This eclipse will be visible in Western Europe, West Africa, North America, Greenland, North Atlantic and North Pacific Ocean.

According to Indian time, the solar eclipse on August 12 will start at 9.04 am and will end at 1.28 am. That means the duration of this solar eclipse will be 4 hours 24 minutes. In the countries where this eclipse will start appearing, it will be considered as Sutak exactly 12 hours before it, which will end with the end of the eclipse.
