Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has issued a big order regarding District Panchayat Presidents. Before the end of the tenure of the District Panchayat Presidents on Saturday, the government has appointed them as administrators. The five-year tenure of all 75 district panchayat presidents is ending on Saturday. Till the new system is made, the outgoing District Panchayat President will handle the work of the concerned District Panchayats and Area Panchayats as the Administrator. If sources are to be believed, soon such a decision can be taken regarding the block heads and they can also be made administrators. Actually, the tenure of the block chiefs is ending on July 19.
In fact, a proposal regarding this had already been sent to the government by the Panchayati Raj Department. The government has now approved this, after which the District Panchayat President will now work as the administrator. The first meeting of the District Panchayat Presidents elected in the three-tier Panchayat elections of the year 2021 was held on 12 July 2021. On this basis, his tenure is ending on 11th July i.e. Saturday.
Let us tell you that earlier the government had appointed the heads for administration. After the tenure of the Pradhans ended, they were given the responsibility of administration. However, earlier this responsibility was handed over to the officers. Now the same system has been implemented in District Panchayats and Area Panchayats also.
