In this series, on Friday the state government has made a major reshuffle in the police department. The government has transferred 24 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. Let us tell you that IG level officers including the Superintendent of Police have been transferred. New postings of Superintendents of Police of 12 districts have been made. Bhavana Pandey has been made the Superintendent of Police of Dhamtari district. While Harish Rathore has been made the Superintendent of Police of Korea district.
According to the information, the most important change in the transfer list issued by the Home Department is regarding the posting of Ajay Kumar Yadav. He has been transferred from the post of Director of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose State Police Academy, Chandkhuri and appointed Inspector General of Police, Rajnandgaon Range.
Meanwhile, the then IG of Rajnandgaon Range, Balaji Rao Somavar has been posted at Police Headquarters (PHQ), Naya Raipur. Apart from this, Bastar Range IG Prashant Kumar Aggarwal has also been transferred and has been given new responsibility at Police Headquarters, Naya Raipur.
