The connection of Indians with India in New Zealand is unbreakable, said PM Modi!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached New Zealand on the last leg of his three-nation tour, wholeheartedly appreciated the love, affection and unbreakable connection of the Indians living there with India. This is the first official visit by an Indian Prime Minister to New Zealand in 40 years.

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon welcomed PM Modi with a hug at the airport. During this period, many New Zealand officials including India’s High Commissioner to New Zealand Muanpui Sayavi were present.

PM Laxon shared the video of Prime Minister Modi’s welcome at the airport and wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, welcome to New Zealand.”

Prime Minister Modi also thanked Prime Minister Luxon for the warm welcome on the social media platform ‘X’. Upon arriving in New Zealand, Prime Minister Modi described his visit to Auckland as ‘historic’ and said he looked forward to discussing bilateral relations with Luxon.

PM Modi wrote on ‘X’, “Arrived in Auckland a while back. Thank you Prime Minister Lakson for the welcome at the airport. This visit is historic, this is the first Prime Minister’s visit to New Zealand in four decades. I look forward to talking to Prime Minister Lakson and discussing the overall India-New Zealand friendship. I will also address a community program in Auckland on Saturday.”

Prime Minister Modi was welcomed in a special way in Auckland during his visit to New Zealand. On this occasion, the city’s famous Sky Tower was decorated with special lights.
