According to a recent report by Wabetainfo, a new feature has been spotted in the WhatsApp for Android Beta 2.26.27.3 update. Named "Birthday Notification," this feature ensures users do not forget their contacts' birthdays. It will function as an in-app notification system, alerting you whenever a WhatsApp contact has a birthday.

Additionally, the company plans to introduce a dedicated section for birthday notifications, where you can view a list of birthdays for all your contacts. It is worth noting that WhatsApp already collects birth dates for age verification purposes; the company will now leverage this data to help you remember the birthdays of your close ones.
