Salman Khan's work front

On the work front, Salman Khan has an exciting lineup ahead. He will next be seen in the patriotic drama  (previously titled Battle of Galwan).
Salman Khan Films recently refuted reports suggesting that Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace had been delayed due to issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). In an official statement, the production house clarified that the film has not yet been submitted to the censor board, calling the circulating claims "baseless" and "factually incorrect."
The makers also urged fans and media platforms to refrain from sharing unverified information, adding that all official updates regarding the film would only be announced through Salman Khan Films' authorised channels.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. Salman Khan essays the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, who was martyred alongside 19 soldiers of the 16 Bihar Regiment during the confrontation between Indian and Chinese troops. The film's new theatrical release date is yet to be announced.
