Kansas City. Reigning world champion Argentina has made it to the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup by defeating Switzerland 3-1 in extra time in a thrilling match. Now Argentina will face England, who defeated Norway 2-1 in their quarter-final match.

However, this match was not easy for Argentina. Both the teams were tied at 1-1 till the stipulated 90 minutes. After this, in the 112th minute of extra time, Julian Alvarez gave Argentina the lead by scoring the decisive goal and later Lautaro Martínez ensured the victory by scoring the third goal.
