Ajay Devgan, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey starrer 'Dhamaal 4' gained tremendous momentum at the box office in the first weekend. After a good start on the first day, the film registered excellent growth on the second and third days. The special thing was that on the first Sunday, the film made its opening weekend strong by making the biggest earning. With this, 'Dhamal 4' not only left behind the opening weekend collection of 'Welcome to the Jungle', but also broke the record of the previous film of its own franchise, 'Total Dhamaal'. Now the trade is eyeing the weekday performance of the film.
According to SACNL data, 'Dhamal 4' collected a net collection of Rs 28.50 crore from 11,481 shows on the third day of its release i.e. first Sunday. With this the total Indian net collection of the film reached Rs 65 crore. The film has earned a gross of Rs 78 crore in India. The film took a good start with Rs 14 crore on the first day, earning Rs 22.50 crore on the second day with a growth of about 60.7 per cent.
Ajay Devgan's 'Dhamaal 4' has left behind the first weekend collection of Akshay Kumar's 'Welcome to the Jungle' by making a net collection of Rs 65 crore in the first weekend. 'Welcome 3' had earned Rs 63.75 crore in the first three days. In this way Ajay Devgan's film went ahead in the opening weekend. At the same time, the first weekend collection of the previous part of 'Dhamal 4' i.e. 'Total Dhamaal' has also been left behind, which was around Rs 62.40 crore.
The occupancy of the film also got better every day. The overall occupancy was 24 percent on the first day, 35 percent on the second day and around 50 percent on the third day. The occupancy of the film in morning, afternoon and evening shows was 22.31%, 56.31% and 71.62% respectively.
'Dhamal 4' collected around Rs 4 crore in the overseas market on the first Sunday of its release, which is Rs 1 crore less than Saturday's Rs 5 crore. The gross collection of this film from the overseas market has reached Rs 14 crore in three days. Overall, the film has made a gross collection of around Rs 92 crore worldwide. It is believed that after the earnings figures of the fourth day i.e. first Monday come, this film will enter the worldwide Rs 100 crore club.
