Datia by-election: BJP candidate Ashutosh Tiwari will file nomination today, Deputy CM Deora said – victory will be ours.

Preparations have intensified for the assembly by-election going to be held in Datia, Madhya Pradesh. This election has come into limelight after the ticket of veteran BJP leader and former state Home Minister Narottam Mishra was cut. Due to Mishra not getting the ticket, his supporters created a ruckus in the city. The party has made Ashutosh Tiwari a candidate in this election, who will file nomination today. Meanwhile, the statement of Deputy Chief Minister of the state Jagdish Deora has come out. He expressed confidence that BJP will register a landslide victory in the by-elections.

During an interview, Deora said that party workers and senior leaders are fully engaged in election preparations. He said that in the upcoming meetings the focus will be on strengthening the election strategy of the party. He further said that BJP workers and senior leaders are actively engaged in preparations for the by-elections.

'BJP will register victory...'

The Deputy Chief Minister expressed confidence that BJP will register victory in the Datia by-election. He said that party workers are continuously working at the grassroots level. He said that party leaders and workers are working to ensure victory in the constituency.

Competition between Ghanshyam Singh and Ashutosh Tiwari

Datia assembly seat fell vacant after the disqualification of Rajendra Bharti on April 2. This disqualification happened under Section 8 of the Representation of the People Act 1951 and Article 191(1)(e) of the Constitution. For this contest, BJP has made Ashutosh Tiwari its candidate, while Congress has fielded Ghanshyam Singh.

Ashutosh Tiwari will file nomination today

Madhya Pradesh BJP President Hemant Khandelwal said on Sunday that party candidate Ashutosh Tiwari will file nomination for Datia Assembly by-election on Monday. He expressed confidence of winning the by-election with an overwhelming majority. It is being told that during the filing of nomination, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, former Home Minister Narottam Mishra and thousands of party workers will be present along with Ashutosh Tiwari.

Referring to the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President Nitin Naveen, BJP State President Khandelwal said that due to the hard work of BJP workers and the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President Nitin Naveen, BJP will win this election with an overwhelming majority. He said that we have talked to all the workers, they will all work for BJP and the party will get a huge majority.

Direct contest between BJP and Congress

A direct contest is being considered between BJP and Congress on Datia seat. While BJP has fielded an army of grassroots workers and senior leaders, Congress is also trying its best to get this seat back. The results of the voting to be held on July 30 will come on August 3. On which everyone's eyes are fixed.
