The case of alleged theft of offerings in Ayodhya’s Ram temple is in the headlines these days. The investigation of this serious case is going on rapidly and till now the police has sent 8 accused behind the bars. On the other hand, petitions demanding an impartial investigation into this alleged misappropriation are also to be heard in the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, Iqbal Ansari, a former party to the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi case, has given a big reaction to this entire controversy, which has become a topic of discussion on social media.

‘If there was theft, the thief was also caught’

Iqbal Ansari has described the incident of theft in Ram temple as very sad. He said that this incident has deeply hurt the sentiments of crores of Hindus, but the best thing is that the Yogi government took immediate and strict action in this matter. Ansari said, “It is a matter of happiness that when the theft took place, the thieves were caught and today they are in jail. The government showed speed because the matter was directly to the temple of Lord Ram. The faith of the people is still unwavering and devotees are continuously coming to Ayodhya in large numbers.”

Ayodhya’s faith and ‘Ganga-Jamuni culture’

Ansari stressed that Ayodhya is a city of religion and being the birthplace of Lord Ram, it is a place that respects all religions. He said that Ganga-Jamuni culture still exists in Ayodhya and the houses of the gods and goddesses here are completely safe. Iqbal Ansari clearly said that those who were trying to defame Ayodhya failed. Thanks to the promptness of the government, they are behind bars today, which proves that the rule of law is supreme.

Said a big thing in praise of Yogi government

Praising the working methodology of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Prime Minister, Iqbal Ansari said that because of them today thieves are in the custody of the police. He said the government’s initiative has ensured that the sanctity of the temple is not affected. People are coming for darshan without any fear and their faith in Ayodhya remains the same as before.

Big revelation made in SIT investigation

It is noteworthy that the initial report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to investigate this matter has raised many questions on the security arrangements. Investigation has revealed that the staff posted in the counting room had stolen the temple offerings by hiding wads of cash in their shoes, clothes and pockets. This theft was not a coincidence, but a planned and repeated act. At present, further legal action is going on in the matter.
