Paschim Medinipur District Police has launched a mobile app ‘Pace’ i.e. Police Assistance in Career and Employment Enhancement with the aim of providing employment to the youth of the district. Where various industrial companies in the district, their vacancies, qualifications and salary scales can be known. From there job aspirants can apply for the post of their choice. That is, this app will present all the information at the fingertips of the job candidates.
The opposition has repeatedly raised questions about the future of the new generation in the grassroots. Because there was no employment. Thousands of educated youth are unemployed. The Trinamool government gave them an allowance instead of a job appointment letter! However, BJP has promised employment only after coming to power in the state. That target work has also started. This special app has been launched recently.
In this regard, District Superintendent of Police Papia Sultana said in a press conference on Monday that this app is being launched on the instructions of the Chief Minister. The industrial organizations of the district have been informed that they should fill up 80 to 90 percent of the vacancies from among the youth of the district. Recruitment of 30 percent women workers has also been suggested. Efforts are underway to provide one to one and a half thousand employment opportunities within a year. Now that app can be applied. Then an attempt will be made to complete the interview process by the 10th of August. Efforts are being made to hand over the appointment letters to the eligible job aspirants on the eve of Independence Day.
