Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard is on the verge of completing a transfer to Turkish club Besiktas, with a medical examination planned for Tuesday, as reported by Sky Germany’s journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Premier League side are expected to receive a transfer fee of €20 million for the Belgian international. Trossard played an important role during Arsenal’s title-winning campaign, contributing six goals and six assists across 31 appearances in England’s top division.
According to Plettenberg, Trossard and his agent, Dirk Hebel, have approved the move after agreeing to a four-year contract that will keep the player at Besiktas until 2030.
The transfer has materialised following Belgium’s elimination in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026, where Trossard featured in every match of their campaign in North America.
