Now a new controversy has come to light after the third marriage of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. The statement of Shahi Chief Mufti Maulana Ibrahim Hussain of Muslim Personal Darul Ifta regarding Aamir Khan, who married Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Gauri Spratt, is in the news. He has claimed that according to Sharia, it is not permissible for a Muslim man to marry a non-Muslim woman. Not only this, he also repeatedly expressed his objections regarding marriage and divorce. After this statement, Aamir Khan's personal life has once again become a part of public debate.
According to the report, the royal chief mufti of Muslim personal Darul Ifta, Maulana Ibrahim Hussain, has objected to Aamir Khan's third marriage. They say that Aamir has married non-Muslim woman Gauri Spratt, who is not considered in accordance with the rules of Sharia. Maulana Ibrahim Hussain said,
It is haraam for a Muslim man, for believers, to marry a non-Muslim. Muslims who marry non-Muslim women are committing a sin. If someone does not consider his act as a sin, then ultimately he will have to answer before Allah.
Maulana not only raised questions on marriage in different religions, but also expressed his opinion on marrying more than once. He said,
It is not advisable to marry, divorce and then marry again. If a person is not able to fulfill the responsibilities of his marriage with equality and justice, he should not marry again.
Referring to Aamir Khan, Maulana said, "This question is related to film actor Aamir Khan. He has recently married a non-Muslim woman for the third time. There has also been opposition in the society regarding this matter." After this statement, Aamir Khan's marriage has again become a topic of national discussion.
