Amidst the discussions about the breakup of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) councilors in Nashik, Maharashtra, on Wednesday all the councilors were called to Mumbai-based 'Matoshree'. In the meeting, the party leadership will meet the councilors and review their loyalty and organizational status. It was a matter of relief for Uddhav that all the councilors attended this meeting.
According to sources, the party leadership will meet all the councilors of Nashik to review the party discipline and ensure their integrity. There has been discussion in political circles for the last few days that about 10 to 12 councilors of Nashik are in touch with Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. This meeting is being considered important in view of the political situation in Nashik and the upcoming local body elections.
