According to Garuda Purana, people who betray their love partners are punished in three different types of hells after death.
According to Garuda Purana, a person betrays his family or spouse in three ways. First, physical deception. Second, lying to your love partner. And thirdly, to commit mental fraud, i.e. to harass people mentally. The souls of these three different types of deceivers receive different types of punishment. Also, the one who cheats has to take birth in an animal form in the next life.
According to Garuda Purana, people who betray their boyfriend or girlfriend have to suffer punishment in Mahatamistra, Raurava and Tamisra hells after death. Even after this the punishment does not end. It is told in Garuda Purana that those who betray others have to be born in animal form in the next life. 1. Mahatamistra Hell-According to Garuda Purana, in this hell people’s souls are tortured by keeping them hungry and thirsty.
2. Raurav Narak-In this hell, the souls of people are punished by a demon named Ruru, who causes them pain. This punishment is given for thousands of years. This hell has been described for those people who hurt others by giving them false confidence in their lives.
3. Tamisra Hell-Those who break the trust of others through deception and deceit are kept in this hell, where they are tortured in darkness.
According to Garuda Purana, those who betray their spouse in this life may have to face betrayal themselves in the next life. Moreover, those who betray their lover or beloved by lying or deceiving in this birth have to be born in animal or bird species in the next life.
