Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace today launched India's first private orbital rocket Vikram-1 on Saturday, July 18. This test was successful in the first attempt. This launch was done at 12:05 pm from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier this launch was to take place at 11:30 am, but the countdown was stopped 5 minutes before the launch. It was restarted after a brief hold. This rocket was completely made in India.
