LPG Rates Today (July 22): India's state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) have made no changes to LPG gas cylinder prices across the country today. Despite ongoing tensions between the US and Iran in West Asia and concerns regarding potential disruptions to energy supplies, the rates for both domestic and commercial cylinders remain unchanged.
When were prices last changed?
Last month, in June, the price of domestic gas cylinders was increased by ₹29 per cylinder. Since then, the price of a domestic gas cylinder for ordinary consumers in Delhi has remained steady at ₹942. Meanwhile, the rate for commercial cylinders decreased by ₹183.50 on July 1.

'Good News' for LPG customers
Amidst this, there is good news for LPG customers. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched a new premium LPG service for its 'Bharatgas' customers called 'Bharatgas Lite ZIP'. Under this service, customers will receive the 'Bharatgas Lite Composite Cylinder' instead of the heavy iron cylinders. Additionally, the company will offer facilities for rapid new gas connections and express delivery.
The company states that this service has been designed with today's fast-paced lifestyle in mind. Currently, it has been launched in Mumbai. The company plans to expand this service to over 100 cities across 24 states by August 15, 2026, ensuring that lakhs of customers can benefit from this facility in the coming weeks.
