TV actor Sehban Azim also came to support the students in the CJP protest. Those who were beaten by the police during the protest and now the actor himself has talked about it. Sehban Azim told that- “He was hit with sticks several times, due to which he got injured.”
Azim, the host of TV serial 'Tujhse Hai Raabta', talked to Mid Day. During this, the actor revealed, "That scene was very sad. I had gone to join the protest in support of the students and two of my female friends had come from Mumbai. While saving them from the lathi charge, I got hurt. My hand is swollen. They hit me with sticks several times on my hands, legs and other parts of the body."
TV actor Sehban Azim claimed that the protesting students Jantar Mantar But the police stopped him before reaching the designated place. He says, "We could not even reach inside Jantar Mantar, where the actual protest was taking place. The police had put up barricades all around and started beating us by trapping us in the middle. They did not even care who they were beating. Be it small children, women or anyone else." During this, he accused the police of deliberately attacking the students. He was seen saying, “They just wanted us all to leave from there and it seemed that the entire lathicharge was done deliberately.”

Elvish wrote- "I am neither a supporter of BJP nor of Congress. But what is happening with the students is completely wrong."
