Materials:

  • Shrimp
  • tamarind
  • Red chillies
  • Turmeric
  • Kashmiri Red Chillies
  • came

Action:

  • To make Sour and Spicy Prawns Curry, first of all, clean the prawns and wash them with water. Remove the white string inside the shrimp.
  • Add red chillies, turmeric, lemon juice and a little salt to taste to the cleaned prawns and apply all the spices properly.
  • Add soaked red chilies, ginger, garlic and onion to a fine paste in a mixer bowl.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves and finely chopped onion and fry till it turns red.
  • Then add turmeric, red chillies, tamarind paste and prepared masala and mix well. Add water to the curry as needed.
  • After boiling the curry, add the seasoned prawns and cook it. Turn off the heat after it comes to a boil.
