Punjab: 100 new Aam Aadmi clinics will open, public inauguration will be on 25th August

The Punjab government has announced to soon start 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics (Mohalla Clinics) for the people of Punjab. These clinics will start from August 25. With their opening, the total number of Aam Aadmi clinics in the state will become 1090. The Punjab government wants to provide health facilities to the people of every district and village of the state.

Already 990 Aam Admi clinics are running smoothly. A large number of people are getting free treatment in these. this clinic Punjab Providing free treatment, laboratory tests and medicines to residents of remote and urban areas near their homes. Apart from this, residents of Punjab are also getting cashless treatment up to Rs 10 lakh per family per year under “Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana”.

Where will new clinics open?

3 crore people of Punjab are also taking full advantage of these mohalla clinics. These mohalla clinics are directly monitored by the Chief Minister's Office to ensure that there is no shortage of medicines or testing machines.

If sources are to be believed, there will be no inauguration ceremony at the time of inauguration of these clinics on August 25. These clinics will be inaugurated by the MLAs and public representatives of the district at their respective levels. All of them have been asked to schedule programs between 25th and 31st August. However, in most places the clinics will start from August 25 itself.
