The company claims that apart from changing the look of the app, it will also get better scrolling, faster loading and ‘better’ notifications. Company executives are of the opinion that the app has been redesigned from the ground up. Bear said that this update will allow the tech firm to introduce new features very quickly. This update includes performance improvements as well as several new design changes.
The new Android version is faster, smoother and more reliable than the old version. The foundation of the app has been modernized, which will improve the user experience in terms of scrolling, loading and notifications.
The new app features a dock at the bottom, which looks a lot like iOS. In this, a special button for X chat has been given in the lower right corner. Apart from this, users can select different topics like football, stock market, politics and sports and pin their favorite topics to the top. This allows users to create new timelines. Users can also continue scrolling through the ‘For You’ and ‘Following’ timelines if they wish.

The microblogging platform is asking users to provide feedback on new updates and report any bugs or issues. Beer is of the opinion that the app still has some bugs, which can be improved. The company plans to improve performance on older devices and bring back features like ‘spaces’ hosting. Also, other features like video and audio editor will be added soon. Features like cashtags and custom timelines are already live in the app.
