
Weather Update 25th July 2026: Monsoon has once again become active in large parts of the country. On July 25, 2026, the weather pattern has changed from Delhi-NCR to Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan. In many states, there is a danger of rain with thunder and lightning, at some places heavy to very heavy rain and at some places there is a danger of lightning. At the same time, rain is expected to continue in some areas for the next 4-5 days. In such a situation, before going out, definitely know the weather of your city.
The maximum temperature in Delhi on July 25 is expected to be 34°C and minimum 25°C. The sky will remain cloudy throughout the day and there may be light rain or drizzle. There is a high possibility of thunder, lightning and light to moderate rain on July 28 and 29. The weather will remain similar in Noida, Gurugram and surrounding areas also.
In Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut, Ayodhya, Bareilly, Ballia and Banda today there may be sunshine amidst clouds and light rain or thundershowers at isolated places. The temperature will be between 32 to 36 degrees Celsius. Rain activities will increase in many districts between July 27 and 30. Warning of heavy rain for a few days is also issued in Ballia, Bareilly, Meerut and Banda.

Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior, Chitrakoot and Pachmarhi will remain partly cloudy on July 25 and there will be a possibility of rain or thundershowers. The maximum temperature will be between 27 to 32 degrees Celsius in most cities. Similar weather is expected to continue for the next five days.
Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg and Jashpur will remain cloudy today. There is a possibility of one or two rounds of rain and thundershowers. Lightning alert continues in Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg, while there is a possibility of moderate rain in Jashpur. The temperature will be between 28 to 30 degrees Celsius and the weather is expected to remain almost like this for the next several days.

The maximum impact of monsoon is visible in Gujarat. Flood like situation prevails in most of the areas here. Very heavy rain in Ahmedabad and Rajkot, alert of extremely heavy rain in Gandhinagar. Surat, Valsad and Jamnagar may also experience heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds at a speed of 30-40 km per hour. The intensity of rain is likely to reduce somewhat after July 28, but light rain may continue.
There is an alert of heavy rain in Mumbai's Borivali, Chembur, Colaba, Mulund, Powai, Santa Cruz and Worli on July 25. After this, moderate rains will continue from 26th to 30th July. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Pune, Nashik and Kolhapur. There are chances of light rain in Nagpur today, while a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Ratnagiri.
There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Sikar today. There will be impact of rain and clouds in Jaisalmer also. The temperature will be between 28 to 38 degrees Celsius. After July 28, rain is likely to reduce in most areas and the weather will remain normal, although rain may continue in Udaipur.
Ambala, Chandigarh, Karnal, Gurugram, Hisar, Rohtak, Bhiwani and Narnaul may see partly cloudy sky and isolated light rain or thundershowers today. The temperature will be between 31 to 34 degrees Celsius. On July 28, the possibility of light to moderate rain will increase in many districts, while after that the weather may gradually improve.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, monsoon will be active in these states of the country between July 25 and 30. Heavy rains in Gujarat and Mumbai region will be of most concern. Rain activities will intensify in Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh during July 28-29. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers continuing in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, people are advised to avoid open places during lightning and plan their travel keeping in mind the weather.
