Automobile Desk – To strengthen its hold in the premium automobile sector, Honda Cars India (HCIL) has introduced its new flagship hybrid car Honda ZR-V e:HEV in the Indian market. Launched at a starting price of ₹47.99 lakh (ex-showroom), this luxury SUV is a perfect blend of Japanese technology and premium driving experience. Along with unveiling the car, the company has also officially started its delivery process across the country.

Got tremendous response as soon as it was launched

​This SUV, which is coming to India as a completely built unit (CBU) from Japan, has received an excellent response from Indian customers. According to Kunal Bahl, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Honda Cars India, both the initial batches destined for India are fully booked even before the official launch.

​Talking about the global market, more than 8 lakh units of ZR-V have been sold worldwide since its first entry in the year 2022, which proves the popularity of its design and performance.

Strong performance and mileage of 22.80 km/litre

​Honda’s new ZR-V e:HEV has a 2.0-litre capacity e:HEV sports hybrid engine. This advanced hybrid setup not only gives excellent power to the car but also keeps it ahead in fuel economy.

​Torque output: 315 Nm (0–2,000 rpm)
​Mileage: 22.80 kmpl (claimed)
​Acceleration (0–100 km/h): Just 7.9 seconds
​This car can automatically switch between EV (electric), hybrid and engine drive modes as per the driver’s need.

Long warranty and assured on-road support

​The company is giving long warranty coverage to the customers with this premium vehicle, so that there is no worry about maintenance:
​Standard Warranty: 3 years (unlimited kilometres) and 3 years Free Roadside Assistance (RSA).

​Extended Coverage: If customers wish, they can extend the warranty up to 7 years as per their convenience.

​Anytime Warranty: Additional protection cycle up to 10 years or 1.20 lakh kilometres.

​Battery and Hybrid Warranty: 8 years or 1,60,000 km coverage is being provided on the lithium-ion battery and 5 years or 1,00,000 km coverage on the hybrid system components.
