The summer transfer market has taken yet another turn on Saturday.

Yan Diomande, a player who drew attention during the World Cup, is now said to have 'agreed personal terms' with Real Madrid.

That update comes from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has continued to keep track of what is shaping up to be a fascinating battle for the 19-year-old winger.

Diomande, who is currently with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, was first linked with Paris Saint-Germain and had already agreed personal terms with the Champions League holders in June.

Los Blancos are now in the race, aiming to stop his talent from ending up in Paris and instead bring him to Madrid. The situation is also intriguing because Arsenal are reportedly keen to sign Vinicius Junior in the opposite direction.

Romano says the Spanish club are ready to submit a fresh bid to Leipzig after an initial offer of €90m plus €10m was turned down. PSG, meanwhile, are still in contact as well.

Diomande impressed for Côte d'Ivoire at the 2026 World Cup in North America, making four appearances and providing one assist. At club level, he has also produced 26 goal contributions for Leipzig in just 36 appearances.

Where do you think he will be by the end of the summer window? Tell us in the comments below.
