Erling Haaland has been backed for a future move to Real Madrid by his former Molde team-mate Magnus Wolff Eikrem, who believes the Norwegian striker could one day make the switch to the Spanish giants.

Speaking to Diario AS, Eikrem said Real Madrid's global appeal makes the club an attractive destination for any top player. Although he acknowledged that Manchester City is already one of the world's strongest teams, he feels Haaland could reach an even higher level if he played in Spain.

Eikrem also believes Haaland would have no trouble fitting into Real Madrid's star-studded squad, which already includes Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Jude Bellingham. He described Haaland as a humble, hardworking player who puts the team first and is unlikely to have any issues adapting to a dressing room filled with world-class talent.

Despite the speculation, there are no indications that a transfer is close. Haaland remains focused on Manchester City and the 2026–27 season under manager Enzo Maresca. While a move to Real Madrid appears unlikely in the near future, Eikrem believes it is a transfer that could eventually become a reality.
