Demand to give chance to Vaibhav Suryavanshi in ODI team before 2027 World Cup, advice to open with Rohit Sharma

Former Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Farooq Engineer Chief selector of Team India Ajit Agarkar Giving great advice to the young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi Should be included in the ODI team soon. Farooq Engineer said that at present Shubman Gill is one of the best batsmen of India and he should bat at number-4. According to him, the left-right hand opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Vaibhav Suryavanshi can prove to be more effective for the team.

He said, “If Rohit Sharma is playing then he should open with Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Shubman Gill should bat at number-4 and Virat Kohli should come at number-3. This will further strengthen India’s batting order.”
