There are conflicting reports on the current status of Juventus’ negotiations with Manchester United for Joshua Zirkzee, with a loan move and an option to buy for €35m.
It is no secret that the Bianconeri need at least one new striker after losing Dusan Vlahovic and with Lois Openda heading to Olympique Lyonnais.
Zirkzee has also been on their radar for a very long time, even before he made the switch from Bologna to Manchester United for €42.5m in the summer of 2024.

Sun Sport report today that Juventus are in ‘advanced negotiations’ to take him to Turin on loan with an option to buy for €35m.
The updates from Sky Sport Italia are far less positive about the talks, saying this is likely to be a difficult and complicated process that is still not near completion.
The transfer fee is only one part of the problem, because his wages are also an issue for the Old Lady after they failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Their first choice remains Randal Kolo Muani, so if he arrives from Paris Saint-Germain, there will not be enough money for both.

Across two years, Zirkzee has scored nine goals and supplied four assists in 75 competitive appearances for Manchester United, but he has never been able to secure regular starts.
