Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's love affair with Harare shows no signs of fading. The 15-year-old delivered yet another masterclass at the venue, smashing 81 off 49 balls to steer India to a 35-run victory over Zimbabwe, sealing a comprehensive 3-0 series sweep.

Asked to bat first on a sluggish surface, India posted a formidable 192/5, with Sooryavanshi's knock serving as the centerpiece. He raced to a 31-ball fifty, his second in T20Is, before unleashing a flurry of reverse-sweeps and lofted drives against the spinners. His innings, laced with eight fours and four sixes, was eventually ended by a spectacular diving catch from Brad Evans.

Ishan Kishan chipped in with 29, while captain Shreyas Iyer made a brisk 27. Rinku Singh provided late fireworks with a 14-ball 25, pushing India past the 190-mark.

In reply, Zimbabwe never really got going. Mayank Yadav struck twice early, including a golden duck for Brian Bennett, and finished with career-best figures of 3/29. Yash Thakur removed Dion Myers and Sikandar Raza in consecutive deliveries, leaving the hosts reeling at 34/3. Ryan Burl fought back with an unbeaten 54, his 13th T20I fifty, but Zimbabwe could only manage 157/7 in their 20 overs.

For Sooryavanshi, Harare continues to be a happy hunting ground; he had previously smashed 175 in the U19 World Cup final at this very ground. And for India, the sweep marks a perfect start to the Shreyas Iyer captaincy era.
