Good news for FC Bayern: Ismael Saibari has taken the next step in his recovery process. The new signing has completed his first individual training session at Säbener Straße.

At FC Bayern, the focus is not only on the upcoming Asian tour and the final squad decisions ahead of the new season. The injury situation within the squad is also keeping Vincent Kompany and his coaching staff occupied.

There is now encouraging news concerning Ismael Saibari. The summer arrival has made his return to the training ground after his injury setback.

It has now emerged that the Morocco international completed his first individual session at Säbener Straße since suffering the injury.

Even though Saibari has not yet resumed full team training, his return to the pitch is being viewed as an important signal in terms of his comeback. For the 24-year-old, this session represents another key step on his road back to competitive action.

After sealing his move to the German record champions, the attacking player was initially forced to hold back because of injury and has still not been able to take part in team training. The Moroccan sustained a torn muscle fibre during the World Cup.

The fact that Saibari is now able to work individually with the ball again underlines that his rehabilitation is progressing according to plan. While most of the squad is travelling to Asia for the Audi Summer Tour, Saibari will remain in Munich and is expected to be reintegrated gradually.

The Asia trip ends on August 8, and Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Dayot Upamecano are also due back from their World Cup break. If Saibari is fit enough by then, he is expected to return to team training.

Alongside Saibari, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl, and Alphonso Davies are currently training at Säbener Straße. They too have deliberately stayed away from the Asian tour and are working on their respective comebacks.
