While Real Madrid continue to excite their supporters with their activity in the transfer market, there is also one unfinished matter that is becoming more worrying with each passing day: the contract renewal of Vinicius Junior.

The Brazilian star has only one year remaining on his deal with the Madrid club, and despite lengthy negotiations between the two parties and a shared desire to continue together, they have still not been able to reach an agreement.

The two sides were expected to reopen talks once again when the forward returns to the club after his holidays following the World Cup. However, even before his return, there was an important development in the case, with some reports claiming that Los Blancos have already informed the player that their latest proposal will be the final one, regardless of whether he accepts or rejects it, and that there will be no more negotiations.

Now, in another significant update on the issue, HandofArsenal reports that Premier League side Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with Vinicius. As a result, his representation agency, Roc Nation, will enter talks with Real Madrid carrying a very attractive offer from the English champions.

Arsenal have been one of the major clubs most strongly linked with the Brazilian forward as his future at Los Blancos becomes increasingly uncertain. In fact, reports had indicated that the Gunners were prepared to make him the highest-paid player in their history, as they view the forward as the missing piece that could help them win the UEFA Champions League.

For the moment, everything depends on Vinicius Junior. He can accept Real Madrid's offer, but if he does not, he will be placed on the market, and Arsenal appear very eager for that to happen so they can sign him this summer.
