Along with releasing the rank list, the university clarified that this is merely an information list of eligible candidates and should not be considered the final state merit list. The final merit list will be issued only after the online application process and document verification are completed.
What information is provided in the rank list?
The released list includes candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the NTA. It contains details such as the candidates' NEET roll numbers, All India Ranks, and NEET scores. The university stated that following the release of the rank list, eligible candidates must apply separately online for the counseling process. Admissions this year in Andhra Pradesh will be conducted via counseling for approximately 7,465 MBBS seats as well as available BDS seats in various dental colleges across the state.

First phase of AP NEET UG 2026 counselling process completed
The first phase of the Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling process has concluded with the release of the state rank list. The university will soon issue a separate notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates. Once the application process is complete, candidates' documents will be verified. Subsequently, the final state merit list will be prepared, and the allocation of MBBS and BDS seats will be based on it.
