Leeds United’s 1-0 pre-season victory over Sunderland has been followed by an updated bookmakers’ predicted final Premier League table for the 2026-27 season.

The revised market indicates a climb for Leeds and fresh projections across the rest of the division.

The two teams faced each other in New Jersey in the early hours of Friday morning UK time. An early goal from Lukas Nmecha secured Leeds’ first win of the summer.

Both clubs had returned to the top flight last season and managed to stay up, unlike Championship runners-up Burnley. Sunderland finished 7th and qualified for the Europa League, ending the campaign seven places and seven points ahead of Leeds. Leeds came 14th and were safe from relegation with three matches remaining.

The latest odds now suggest Arsenal will finish 1st at 7-4, with Manchester City tipped for 2nd at 10-3. Liverpool are projected to place 3rd at 6-1.

Chelsea have moved up to 4th from 5th and are priced at 8-1. Manchester United have dropped from 4th to 5th at 9-1, while Tottenham Hotspur are 6th at 28-1. The reshaped market has also made updated predictions for Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Everton.
