Premier League leads the way: the 10 biggest transfers of the window so far

The transfer window has only just begun, with nearly a month still remaining, but clubs have already spent millions on deals.

In that context, the Premier League has clearly set the pace. England’s top flight accounts for the four biggest transfers completed so far.

The top 10 list also features three more moves involving English football, along with one transfer from Saudi football, one from Spanish football and one from Italian football.

Most transfer windows will shut on 31 August or 1 September, which means plenty can still change before the deadline.

Players such as Yan Diomandé, Julián Álvarez and Vini Jr could yet break into this ranking of the biggest transfers.

Al-Hilal — 64.5 million euros

Liverpool — 70 million euros

Barcelona — 70 million euros

Milan — 74 million euros

Tottenham — 99 million euros
