Zaid Darbar got eliminated just before the semi-final of Alliance. The Amazon Prime Video show ended on August 6, 2026 with a grand finale episode. Mini Mathur emerged as the winner of the Kunal Kemmu-hosted show. Zaid Darbar, who was evicted from Alliance during the Traitors task, had an exclusive interaction with Zoom, where he reacted to Kushal Tandon’s derogatory remarks about his wife Gauahar Khan in the show. For the unversed, Kushal had jokingly said that Zaid likes all his things. For the unversed, Kushal and Gauahar dated each other for a few months after Bigg Boss 7.

 

Zaid Darbar and Kushal Tandon bonded well in the  . Many people initially thought that something would happen between the duo since they have Gauahar Khan in common. For the unversed, Kushal and Gauahar broke up many years ago. After a few years, Gauahar started dating Zaid, and the couple eventually got married in December 2020.

In a candid conversation with us, we asked  about his bond with Kushal Tandon. He said, “I never faked in the show. Whenever I felt like talking to him (Kushal), I talked to him. There was no strategy behind it.”

He further explained, “As far as my connection with  is concerned, I didn't know him at all. I never thought to do anything whenever I face him. It was very normal for me. I never had any preconceived notions about him since he had been an ex of my wife, Gauahar. I didn't want to get anything wrong in my head.”

When asked about Kushal Tandon’s viral joke on himself, Gauahar and Zaid, the Alliance contestant, said, “Honestly, it sounded very normal then. I didn't think about it in another way. Mera dimaag uss taraf kabhi jaata hi nahi. It just skipped from my mind.”

It looks like Zaid Darbar has no problem with Kushal Tandon’s comment, as it was nothing but a joke. In fact, Gauahar Khan partied with the Alliance contestants, including Kushal last night (August 6) in Mumbai. A few videos and pictures from the event are currently going viral on social media.

 

Zaid Darbar is a son of celebrated music composer Ismail Darbar. He is a trained dancer and social media influencer. Gauahar and Zaid are proud parents to two sons, Zehaan and Farwaan. After Alliance, Zaid’s fans are looking forward to seeing him more on the small screen.
