A major recruitment drive has been announced for aspiring teachers in Chhattisgarh. The application fee is set at ₹350 for the General category, ₹250 for OBC, and ₹200 for SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates. For local candidates from Chhattisgarh, the examination fee will be refunded to their bank accounts at a later stage.
**Eligibility**
Candidates must possess the relevant educational qualifications and have qualified for the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test). Candidates holding a graduation degree along with D.El.Ed, B.Ed, or a prescribed four-year teacher training course are eligible to apply. As of January 1, 2026, the minimum age requirement is 21 years, and the maximum is 35 years. Candidates from reserved categories will receive a five-year age relaxation in accordance with the rules.

The written examination will consist of 100 questions. There will be a marking scheme of one mark for a correct answer and negative marking of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. The exam is tentatively scheduled for October 25, from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM. It will be conducted at 16 district headquarters across the state. Admit cards are expected to be released around October 19.
