The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1,251 Livestock Extension Officers in the Animal Husbandry Department. According to the UPSSSC, online applications for the Livestock Extension Officer recruitment will commence on September 9, 2026. In case of any errors in the form, candidates will be able to make corrections until October 6, 2026. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date and to complete their application in a timely manner.

**Who can apply?**
For this recruitment, candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age. Reserved categories will receive age relaxation in accordance with government rules. Regarding educational qualifications, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Biology or Agriculture as subjects. **Shortlisting based on PET**
Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination based on the marks obtained in the PET. Subsequently, selected candidates will appear for a subject-specific main written examination. Following the exam, document verification will be conducted, and the final merit list will be prepared.
