Cadillac is taking its vehicle appearance personalisation push a step further. On Tuesday, the carmaker announced that it is extending its new “Curated by Cadillac” programme to the 2027 Escalade IQ.
You may remember that the programme first appeared during Monterey Car Week last year, when Cadillac introduced it with the CT5-V Blackwing. This year, the Escalade IQ has been added to the line-up, giving prospective buyers of the electric Escalade a huge range of new paint finishes and interior trim choices. And, just as with the Blackwing, Curated by Cadillac for the electric Escalade will be produced in low volumes and will be very expensive.
For buyers interested in going down this route, Cadillac says the programme expands the exterior palette to more than 160 colours. The available finishes include solid, metallic, tri-coat, frost and matte options. In addition to the exterior customisation, Cadillac says it is also offering 44 interior colours that can be mixed and matched to create a wide variety of combinations. Specific details remain limited, but with that many shades on offer, it is fair to assume most buyers will find something that suits their taste.
Every vehicle will get a unique Curated by Cadillac VIN, along with an “exclusive serialized builder’s badge.” Buyers will also have the support of a personal concierge to guide them through the customisation process.
Each Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will be hand-built at the same Artisan Centre facility in Warren, Michigan, that also produces the Cadillac Celestiq. The package carries a flat price of $54,995 over and above the Escalade IQ itself, which starts at $130,300. Even so, it is likely that customers opting for this treatment will pair it with the Premium Luxury or Premium Sport variants, which would push the final price beyond $200,000.
Deliveries of Curated by Cadillac models are expected to start in the second half of 2027. However, visitors attending The Quail this week will be able to see an example of the Escalade IQ on display.
